Mouseover the JSON key to see a brief description of each key. Keys that either haven't been identified (or that we haven't gotten around to adding yet) will show 'XXX'. Keys that are light gray are obsolete/legacy but still are returned in API responses.

Tags are useful for helping to mark a customer or job as belonging to one or more categories. You can also use them to filter data in custom reports. Most, if not all, API endpoints that are involved in editing tags are "wipe-and-replace" operations so it's a good idea to first pull the existing tags, make whatever edits you like, and then push that full set back. Notice that the tag entries don't contain a reference to a specific job meaning that if the name of a tag is changed or deleted it's updated or deleted everywhere. While you can manually create tags in the Settings page of Kickserv, simply adding a new tag to a job/customer will automatically create the necessary plumbing.
